The finishing is a light take down, and also the epilogue has to truly have actually simply been modified out, nevertheless it is still a 5 celebrity book that made me laugh, made me think, and also totally made me respect the personalities. After I examine it, I offered it to a friend along with we are still mentioning it. Lastly, I wish I do not get disallowed for this, however this book had human Muslim characters in it, among whom Alsana is entertaining along with an added that is all likewise human, that I truly felt for.

This is the very first time I have in fact ever before had the ability to attach to a Muslim. I seem like I really had my mind broadened, eyes opened, etc. At no factor did the tale obtain deteriorated or side- tracked by the dives, and also the fashion in which all of it integrated to strengthen the styles of the book was in fact great.

If there is an issue, it continues to be in the size. Duis ut nisl in mi eleifend faucibus egestas aliquet arcu. Nam id enim sapien. I love this book so was really looking forward to the audiobook. The first three narrators were brilliant, I really get a lot from audiobooks when the narrators put effort into voicing each character.

Once again this book is fantastic, I just wish the final narrator tried a bit harder. I was lost in the story, the characters and how it unfolded. It's a long time since I've been so absorbed. This was a great audiobook, I loved the changing voices! I really recommend this audiobook! The four narrator thing is a bit odd, each time they change it takes a little adapting as all the characters voices change. Other than that though: absolute tour de force of British literature, truly brilliant!

This is a book that I wish I had read 20 years ago. It is a rich tapestry of culture with a strong cast of unforgettable characters comparable to a 20th century Dickens. The only downside to the reading was the 4th narrator. To be fair he had a hard act to follow as the brilliant Lenny Henry had started the book off but his characters all sounded alike and sometimes it was a struggle to work out who was speaking.

However, this should not detract from the book itself which is a masterpiece of multi cultural Britain at the end of the 20th Century.

It's very well produced. However, I found the different narrators used for each part annoying and slightly confusing, esp since they all do voices for the characters meaning that each character sounds different in each part. You get used to it, but it's jarring when there's a transition, especially the first time it's happened and you think you've landed in another book.

I could not get into this book. Ending felt like the author got sick of writing so just wrapped it up. I loved this book. It was well written with a compelling plot. Sometimes I feel like I missed out on something by listening to the audiobook rather than reading it in my own voice, but this was absolutely not the case with this one.

The readings were outstanding and a delight to listen to. I found the story and most of its characters quite dull and I was strained to make it through this arduous tale.
